Gundam SEED Destiny Generation of CE – Episode 09 -「オーブの獅子」(ORB’s Lion) – Longplay

This Episode portrays the Anime Gundam Seed Destiny’s 40th Episode: Phase 40: “Into the Dawn Skies” – 「暁の宇宙へ」

After the destruction of JOSH-A, the Archangel returned to Orb. At this time, the Earth Alliance invaded Orb to acquire their mass driver.
They approached by sending an ultimatum to Orb, explaining that they must step down their military and not to resist. However, Uzumi could deduce the Alliance’s true motives. If Orb was to ally with PLANT, then the EA would be their enemy and vice versa. Both forces would use Orb’s power to destroy each other. Thus, Orb declared opposition towards the Alliance’s extremist goals.
After two days of fighting, Uzumi realized that Orb could no longer hold off the Earth Alliance, thus he and the other members of the Council prepared to destroy the Kaguya mass driver. Cagalli was concerned for her father, but she was dragged by him to the Kusanagi. He assured her that she was not alone, for she will be with her brother, giving her a picture of a woman holding two infants, with Kira and Cagalli’s names inscribed on the back, revealing to her that they were brother and sister. He then told her it was an honor to be her father, as the Kusanagi took off.
After the Kusanagi launched into space, Uzumi, along with Orb’s ministers, detonate the Morgenroete facility and Kaguya mass driver, killing themselves in the process. This act of sacrifice thwarted Azrael’s plan to use Orb’s mass driver against the PLANTs.

Após a destruição de JOSH-A, o Archangel retornou ao ORB. Neste momento, a Aliança Terrestre invadiu a ORB para tentar tomar posse de seu Mass driver.
Eles se aproximaram enviando um ultimato para a ORB, os intimando que deveriam abandonar seus armamentos e não resistir. No entanto, Uzumi pôde deduzir os verdadeiros motivos da Aliança.
Se o ORB fosse aliado ao PLANT, então o EA seria seu inimigo e vice versa. Ambas as forças usariam o poder de ORB para destruir um ao outro. Assim, ORB declarou oposição aos objetivos extremistas da Aliança.
Após dois dias de luta, Uzumi percebeu que a ORB não poderia mais suportar a investida da Aliança Terrestre, assim ele e os outros membros do Conselho se prepararam para autodestruir o Mass driver Kaguya. Cagalli estava preocupada com seu pai, mas ela foi arrastada por ele para a Kusanagi. Ele garantiu a ela que ela não estava sozinha, pois ela estará sempre com seu irmão, dando-lhe uma foto de uma mulher segurando dois bebês, com os nomes de Kira e Cagalli marcados na parte de trás, revelando a ela que eles eram irmãos. Ele então disse a ela que havia sido uma honra ser seu pai, quando o Kusanagi decolou.
Após o lançamento de Kusanagi para o espaço, Uzumi, junto com os ministros de ORB, detonou a instalação Morgenroete e o Mass driver Kaguya, matando-se no processo. Este ato de sacrifício frustrou o plano de Azrael de usar o Mass driver do ORB contra as PLANT.
